Solvothermal and hydrothermal technologies play an increasingly vital role in material synthesis, resource utilization, energy conversion and environmental remediation. To promote academic exchanges between domestic and international researchers in this field, the 10th International Solvothermal and Hydrothermal Conference (ISHC) will be held in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China, in 2027. The International Society for Solvothermal and Hydrothermal Chemistry (ISHA) was founded in 2006 through the merger of the International Hydrothermal Society (established in 1982) and the International Solvothermal Society (established in 1994). Committed to advancing fundamental research and engineering applications of hydrothermal and solvothermal science and technology, the Society provides a high-level academic exchange platform for researchers worldwide. Since its establishment, the ISHA conference series has been successfully hosted in Nottingham, UK (2008); Beijing, China (2010); Austin, USA (2013); Bordeaux, France (2014); Taiwan, China (2016); Sendai, Japan (2018); Saltillo Coahuila, Mexico (online conference, 2021); Valladolid, Spain (2023); and Bali, Indonesia (2025). As the first edition of this prestigious international academic conference to be held in Southwest China, the 10th conference bears profound academic significance and milestone value. This conference is sponsored by the Department of Chemical Engineering, Tsinghua University, and co-organized by the Faculty of Metallurgy and Energy Engineering and the Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering, Kunming University of Science and Technology. We sincerely invite experts, engineers and graduate students from universities, research institutes and enterprises worldwide engaged in solvothermal/hydrothermal-related disciplines including resources, energy, materials, chemistry, chemical engineering, metallurgy and environmental science to participate and exchange ideas.
